situacion
 
The XXI BARCELONA MANGA FAIR will be held from Thursday, October 29 to Sunday, November 1 at the Fira Barcelona Montjuïc venue. The fair will take over Hall 1, both floors of Hall 2, Hall 4 and Plaza Universo, where the stage will be located, covering over 60,000 m² of space this year.

 

The stage will be located at PLAZA UNIVERSO, where the cosplay competitions, the Anime Song Contest, Asian dancing and musical performances will be held

HALL 1 will house Japanese cuisine, the cooking workshop and the Super Mario Bros space.

The GROUND FLOOR OF HALL 2 will house the exhibitions, the manga workshop, the auditorium 1 and the kids’ area. The UPPER FLOOR OF HALL 2 (called 2.1) will house the Spirit of Japan space, where activities related to Japanese culture, tradition and natural therapies will be held, and the auditorium 2.

HALL 4 will house the projections room, exhibitions, japanese games workshops, areas for cosplayers and other activities.

Access:

Guests with an advance ticket, invitations and cosplayers who have registered online (only on Friday, October 30) can access the fair on Avenida Reina María Cristina. Visitors who purchase a ticket at the box offices can access the fair via Plaza España, as indicated on the map.

Opening times:

Thursday, October 29: from 10:00 am to 20:00 pm.
Thursday, October 30: from 09:00 am to 21:00 pm.
Saturday, Ocrober 31: from 09:00 am to 21:00 pm.
Sunday, November 1: from 09:00 am to 20:00 pm.

The box offices will sell the avalaible tickets. In the event that tickets for any of the four days of the fair sell out during advance ticket sales the fair will announce it on the FICOMIC website, social networks and the media.

 
Tickets:

The box offices in Plaza España will open at 9:00 a.m. where tickets available for that same day will be sold. In the event that tickets for any of the four days of the fair sell out during advance ticket sales the fair will announce it on the FICOMIC website, social networks and the media.

The ticket is valid only for the day specified on the ticket. The four-day pass is a ticket for each of the event’s four days. Tickets for school groups are valid for Thursday and Friday only and will only be sold at the box offices.

ADVANCE TICKET SALES BEGIN ON THURSDAY, JULY 24 EXCLUSIVELY THROUGH www.ficomic.com. In the event that tickets for any of the four days of the fair sell out during advance ticket sales the Fair will announce it on the FICOMIC website, social networks and the media. This means that TICKETS FOR DAYS THAT HAVE BEEN SOLD OUT DURING ADVANCE SALE WILL NOT BE SOLD AT THE BOX OFFICES. The corresponding handling fees will be added to the price of the advance ticket.

General admission: 8 €
General admission will be available through advanced sales on the FICOMIC website. Tickets may also be purchased at the box office (located in Plaza España) provided that tickets for that day have not been sold out. The entry is only valid for the day specified on the ticket. Advanced sales began on July 2.

Reduced-price ticket: 6 €
Carnet Jove, Tarjeta Rosa and people over 65 years old can buy 6 € reduced-price tickets.
Carnet Jove owners can also buy advanced tickets through the web www.ficomic.com
The reduced-price ticket can be purchased through the box office (located in Plaza España) provided that tickets for that day have not been sold out.
Carnet Jove and Tarjeta Rosa owners can buy only one ticket by day.
Advanced sales began on July 2. The entry is only valid for the day specified on the ticket.
This type of ticket may not be combined with any other promotional offers at the fair.

School group ticket: 2 €
The school must provide a letter from the institution specifically stating the number of students and teachers attending. Available only at the Barcelona Manga Fair box offices. The ticket is valid for one day only. This type of ticket cannot be combined with any other promotional offers at the fair.

4-days pass: 24 €
The four-day pass can be purchased through advanced sales on the FICOMIC website and at the box office (located in Plaza España) provided that tickets for that day have not been sold out. Advanced sales will began on July 24. This type of ticket may not be combined with any other promotional offers at the fair.

Cosplayers
Los visitantes del XXI Salón del Manga de Barcelona que vengan caracterizados de personajes de manga, anime o videojuegos  y que quieran entrar gratis el viernes 30 de octubre deberán realizar una inscripción previa online a través de la web de FICOMIC. La fecha de inicio de esta inscripción será el lunes 29 de junio, y el número máximo de inscritos será de 3.000. La caracterización del cosplayer debe ser integral, no se admitirá que el cosplay sea parcial.

The organization reserves the right to make any changes to the schedule and location of activities within the venue as it deems necessary for the event to run more smoothly.

ENTERING THE FAIR WITH PETS, BICYCLES, SKATEBOARDS, SKATES, ROLLERBLADES OR SIMILAR IS PROHIBITED.

IMPORTANT: In compliance with the Royal Decree 137/1993 on the bearing of arms, fair attendees are strictly forbidden to carry any firearm, metal weapon or blunt instrument or imitations which may, because of their appearance, lead to confusion over their intended use. Any object that might endanger the physical wellbeing of other people, such as inflammable or pyrotechnic material, is prohibited. Imitation weapons will only be allowed if they are made of plastic, cardboard or other materials that pose no danger to the public present.
